The German string knight par excellence! Since the late ’80s, Axel Rudi Pell has been roaming the metal world like a wandering troubadour, wielding epic melodies – always accompanied by his loyal vocalist Johnny Gioeli (Hardline). This year, the band returns with Ghost Town and sharpens its hard-rock sword on the big festival stages.
Pell loves to tell tales of knights and adventures in his songs – which fits perfectly with Mallorca, where dream beaches and ancient stone walls make such stories easy to imagine.

At last, what belongs together finally comes together: fanny packs, pool, Mallorca… and Stroppo! The Butcher Sisters are storming the island. Sunglasses are mandatory and the pit in the pool is non negotiable. Hey Metaleros — say it: Klettergerüst!

Frontman Jørn Lande’s voice is like stainless steel – powerful, melodic, and always with a touch of pathos, but never too much. Active since 2000 and boasting an impressive discography of more than 15 studio albums, Jorn delivers consistent hard-rock and heavy-metal sound that greets longtime fans and newcomers alike like a warm Mediterranean breeze.

If one name stands for thrash legends, it’s Frank Blackfire – a German guitarist who left lasting marks in both Sodom and Kreator. His “Best Of” set is a high-speed thrash history lesson: classics that thrill longtime fans and leave newcomers wide-eyed and speechless.

Not to be confused with the US glam-metal band: the German speed-metal veterans Warrant from Düsseldorf return in 2025 with a new album, The Speed Of Metal – energetic, fast (!) and uncompromising, exactly what you’d expect from a band that was already knee-deep in the primal sludge of the scene back in 1985.
