Full Metal Holiday 2025: New bands, local heroes, and plenty of metal spirit!

Metalheads, we’ve got news: Unfortunately, Heathen can’t make it – but they’ll be more than fittingly replaced by Sacred Steel. Still, beyond the big headliners, you can look forward to plenty of other highlights this year – like our Local Heroes! But beware: “Local” doesn’t mean “small” here. On the pool stage, you’ll find bands long celebrated far beyond their home turf for crushing riffs, gripping shows, and boundless energy.

With Brute Force, Main Line 10, Lyra’s Hëll, and Octane, Full Metal Holiday is serving up not only sheer musical power but also the unmistakable spirit of the local scene. From uncompromising old-school sounds to high-energy modern metal and soaring melodies – it’s all here, perfect for letting the sound of the sea carry you straight into the mosh pit.

And because we know that a metal holiday is about more than just concerts, a fresh breeze in our side program will keep the good vibes rolling offstage too: expect more metal workshops, readings, and hangouts with some truly illustrious guests. This year, joining us on the island will be none other than Sabina Classen, Nico Rose, Uwe Bahn, and Martin Semmelrogge!
